It was when I turned 16, that's where da trouble started
I began to act just a lil bit retarded
I was hanging out, doin a lotta stupid things
I remember even stealing my mothers diamond ring
Gave it to this girl becuz she really liked me
And then she hooked up with my friend, just to spite me
My mother started crying, but no I didn't care
Trouble was my middle name, a parents worst nightmare
I was chillin with the wrong crowd, gettin into fights
Got robbed a couple times, man they even took my bike
Couldn't even use their hands, they came at me with a knife
It was never one but two, no three times 25
Had nobody on my side, was outnumbered every time
I got so many prank calls, my fone ran outa lines
They would come to my job, wait for me outside
Dad come pick me up, drive dad drive

I'll never forget the night I was arrested
And seein disappointment on my parents faces
One random mistake that never shoulda happened
Sirens & cuffs, with a lot of bloody napkins
My friends all disappeared, with no where to be found
I was gasping for air but they left me to drown
It was then I decided now that I had enough
I'm moving away, put my bags in the trunk
So I flew to Morocco, I'll stay there for a bit
I hooked up with this chick, n then got really sick
I call back home, I'm havin panic attacks!
I can't breathe, I'm dying, I gotta come back
At the airport making calls n saying my goodbyes
I'm not gonna make it home, I think I'm gonna die
Get my mom on the fone, praying Rock be strong
The Lord got me home, so I could sing u this song

And so I was spared despite so many mistakes
Talkin to the wrong girls, gettin stalked everyday
It seems no matter wut I do, the drama won't go away

I grew up in the church, but then I stopped goin
I can't deal with questions, they're too nosey

But the problem with no rules, just leads to sin
Every wk at the club, havin drink after drink
So drunk I can't stand, I can't see I can't think

We Head to a hotel, and we did what we did
Next morning so guilty, I make myself sick
Walked into church, as if nothing had happened
Now I knew I was wrong, but I was good at acting
Panic attacks came back, n so did the stalkers

I had enough God, I quit, I can't do this, so Jesus u win
Forgive me Lord please, I was lost, I was wrong
